The different Christian identity paradigms

Note this is far from comprehensive and it is only generally speaking, there are many variants to the details, but what is true there are only a few identity viewpoints that Christians live in.

Identity 1. Human

A saved person, who does nice things, cleans up their character, morals and attitudes, is trying to be the example of living right for work mates

  • Identity: Mere Human
  • State: Blood brought, Sins covered, or working out/for salvation
  • Clothed: Gown of salvation
  • Resources: what they have in their hand, pray for God’s mercy
  • Status: Living in self but trying to die from with in it, cleaning up old man.
  • Authority: zero
  • Tabernacle: Normally wanders around in the outer court of the tabernacle.
  • Which Gospel: Luke
  • Face of God identifies with: Man
  • Dwells: Maybe at the cross, maybe mostly in the world
  • Amount of the Gospel: Walking in 1/4 of gospel
  • Error: Error is in their identity, because they believe they are a soul instead of spirit, therefore they dwell at the the cross, and not the resurrection

Identity 2. Human Servant

As above but laying down life for the gospels sake, dying to self, but still only walking with half the gospel, puts on the gown of salvation but doesn’t put of the robe of righteousness and the authority that comes with “the putting on”! so can not “speak to a mountain” as what authority do they have to do that, so they pray God please “speak to the mountain”. This is the typical aid worker, awesome person who is out loving people, trying to get them saved, but still an Adam identity.

  • Identity: Mere Human
  • State: Blood brought, Sins covered, or working out/for salvation
  • Clothed: Gown of salvation
  • Resources: Sowing and reaping, what they have in there hand, pray for God’s mercy
  • Status: Living in self but trying to die from with in it, cleaning up old man.
  • Authority: zero
  • Tabernacle: Normally lives in the outer court at the altar sacrificing the sacrifice.
  • Which Gospel: Mark
  • Face of God identifies with: Ox, the servant
  • Dwells: Maybe at the cross, maybe mostly in the world, cling to the old rugged cross.
  • Amount of the Gospel: Walking in 1/2 of gospel
  • Error: Error is in their identity, because they believe they are a soul instead of spirit, therefore they dwell at the the cross, and not the resurrection

Identity 3. Human King

Assuming this person is building on no. 2 (however not always the case). This Christian understands they have authority in Him, but they still have the identity of a soul, they are an adopted son of God, they do the work of a priest, someone who is in the five fold ministry full time (pastor, evangelist) is a good example here…

  • Identity: Mere Human Soul, adopted, born of son of God, however only positional
  • State: Blood brought, Sins covered, or working out salvation
  • Clothed: Gown of salvation, and robe of righteousness but only positional as they’re still sinful under the righteousness
  • Status: Living in self but trying to die from with in it, cleaning up old man.
  • Resources: Sowing and reaping, all is positional not much experiential
  • Authority: Some authority, commands sickness and demons
  • Tabernacle: Normally lives in the inner court doing the works of a priest/king. Can enter Holiest of Holy places hidden in Christ until mentions their soul’s failing and will be removed from there promptly.
  • Which Gospel: Matthew
  • Face of God identifies with: Lion, the king, kingdom, authority
  • Amount of the Gospel: Walking in 3/4 of gospel, however might not be servant if so 1/2 gospel.
  • Dwells: At the cross, remembering their sins are paid for, cling to the old rugged cross.
  • Error: Error is in their identity, because they believe they are a soul instead of spirit, therefore they dwell at the the cross, and not the resurrection

Between this identity and the next there is a wilderness, it is only a few week journey between these two identities but with most they will wander around (for 40yrs) and die in the wilderness, only those with a different attitude will cross over.

The distance between the two is only paper thin, however to many its an eternity thick, its the difference between knowing and believing, hearing and understanding.

Identity 4. A Son Of God

Christian understands they are “a new creation” NOW! whether it is manifest or not, manifest means brain matter has been taken and recoded. Understands everything about the new creation is true, 100% righteous, brand new. That which is born of spirit is spirit!

  • Identity: a son of God, experiential
  • Identity State: Perfect
  • Clothed: Gown of salvation and robe of righteousness experientially now
  • Status: Utterly thrown off self, got under it and threw it off, refuses to clean up old man, all is new. Rid self of self, See any conflict is likened to COI taking the promised land.
  • Resources: Unlimited
  • Authority: All authority under Him, knows will of God, able to prove the perfect will of God, commands everything including angels, demons, world events etc
  • Tabernacle: Able to enter and dwell in the Holiest of Holies places.
  • Which Gospel: John
  • Face of God identifies with: Eagle, son of God,
  • Dwells: At the resurrection
  • Main gifting: faith & prophetic, testimony of Jesus
  • Amount of the Gospel: Walking in all of gospel, 4/4
  • Error: If any… is in their identity same as above look at the resurrection. Thinking they are a separate being to Christ, not realising He is there life and they use His life, they need to grow up into the head, as they are hidden in Him and can not be found separate from Him.
  • Aim: Oneness with God

As the serpent was lifted up in the wilderness so the son of man must be, to those who look at Him they will be healed (every part of them, spirit, soul and body). This is the work of God, this is the weapon of our warfare, how sad it is that people will only believe a portion of what was done there. The work of God was totally done at Calvary, it is finished, it is amazing beyond understanding, we see in part and prophesy in part, how wonderful it is… is still to be fully revealed.

Whether you believe it or not you are perfect in Him right now! The fruit of having this, faith, confidence, and right standing with God should not be under estimated.

Identity 5. The Son of God

Here we understand we are so hidden in Him we have His life. Whatever is true of Him is true of us, it is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives, and the life I now live I live by faith in (inside) the son of God. You are like the word says: flesh of His flesh, bone of His bone (Eph 5:30) (we enter the holiest place through the veil of His flesh (Heb 10:20), and even Blood of His blood (unless you drink my blood and eat my flesh you have no place in me (John 6:53), Soul of His Soul (soul of the flesh is in the blood (Lev 17:11)) that’s why the blood was the payment a perfect soul for our evil souls, Spirit of His Spirit (But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit 1 Cor 6:17). I must strongly emphasise you are not God and never will be God, but you are His child, His offspring, born again in Christ’s life and because of that just like Him.

  • Identity: Christ
  • Identity state: Risen, identical, Oneness with God
  • Clothed: One with Him, the Alpha and Omega
  • Resources: Unlimited
  • Authority: All authority
  • Tabernacle: Holiest of Holies places.
  • Which Gospel: All
  • Face of God identifies with: All
  • Dwells: Holiest of Holy places, the Throne of God, Unapproachable Light (where only Christ can dwell)
  • Amount of the Gospel: Walking in all of gospel, 4/4
  • Error: If any… is in their identity same as above look at the resurrection
  • Aim: Gods perfect will, Light and Love.

The salvation that God has saved us with is not positional only, as some would believe, it is literal and it is done when you are born-again, you are now complete, with His life not your own, just your living soul doesn’t understand it, it still thinks reality is what it knows, but it hasn’t caught up with what it means to be given Christ life. For my life is hidden in Christ in God, when Christ who is my life….

Unless you understand Gal 2:20 you will never have identity correct!
